Greetings Everyone!!!
Harvesting Lessons from the Storm: Understanding Life’s Phases
Oh,it is very rainy! I am unable to move freely, feeling sick, and unwilling to do anything. I just feel like sitting idle and keeping to myself.
Waiting for bright sunny days where I can do whatever I wish. I feel ever-ready for anything on those days. When will they be back?
Hmmmmm…….
If you are also feeling the same way this monsoon season, then this message might interest you!
The gloomy rainy season can be compared to a difficult phase in our lives. Rains with heavy thunderstorms might not just look frightening, but also bring various obstacles like sickness, power cuts, and restricted movement. But if we reflect carefully, we understand that they bring water which, if harvested properly, becomes our savior and a joyful addition during the sunny days. We are ready for anything on sunny days, but without water, can we truly enjoy that radiant energy from within?
Similarly, in our lives as well, while we are going through a difficult phase, it might seem that we are locked in and nothing is working our way. But we have to keep a close eye on the lessons coming across through those experiences—just like rainwater seeping into our spaces silently. If we can collect those deep messages and harvest them in the proper way, they will definitely help guide our actions and bring more joy into our upcoming phase of good days.
At Sri Kameswari Foundation, the month of July has been a time of many such experiences that helped us chart our path even more strongly.
Our prostrations to Mother Kameswari and sincere thanks to all those who are traveling with us and helping us in all our endeavors.
Here, we present our newsletter with highlights that made July a month to remember and progress with purpose!
1.Dr. Suryanarayana garu at the Bhimaratha Shanti of B. Sri Burra Bhaskara Sarma garu – 25-07-2026
On 25th July, Dr.Suryanarayana garu had the honour of participating in the Bhimaratha Shanti (Saptati) Mahotsavam of B.Sri Burra Bhaskara Sarma garu — a gathering that brought together an extraordinary assembly of scholars, anushthatas, and well-wishers, all united by their devotion to dharma.
The occasion drew eminent Telugu and Sanskrit scholars such as Dr.Dorbhala Prabhakara Sarma garu, celebrated for his ability to compose poetry extempore and for his lifelong dedication to the propagation of the Sanskrit language. Great anushthatas like Vishnubhatla Somayaji garu, who have devoted their lives to the Shrauta Yagyas, graced the event alongside prominent voices such as Darshanam Sarma garu.
What brought such a distinguished gathering together was the very personality of Burra Sarma garu himself — a simple, humble man whose purana pravachanam has brought life and meaning back into the ordinary, often dry, routines of countless listeners. His decades of dedication to the art of pravachanam were the true occasion for celebration.
Dr.Suryanarayana garu was given the opportunity to address this vaidika audience on how a futuristic gurukulam could be envisioned — how we might anticipate the needs of coming generations and build an ecosystem that carries this knowledge forward. The thought was received warmly, and at the conclusion of the event, Dr.Suryanarayana garu was felicitated by the gathering.
2. GuruPurnima — Rediscovering Our Guru Parampara – 29-07-26
On 29th July, we celebrated Gurupurnima — a moment each year to pause and rediscover why our objectives exist at all, and to reaffirm that everything we pursue is achieved only under the guidance of our Guru Parampara. Parents and students of Kameswari participated with great enthusiasm and involvement.
This GuruPurnima also marked the beginning of Kavya Shastra for our senior students. It became a moment of realisation that to truly grasp a rishi’s intention, one must first understand the depth of the Sanskrit language in its traditional way — a depth that mere translation can never substitute for.
On this occasion, Dr.Suryanarayana garu and Srinivas garu spoke to the students about their own Guru Parampara, naming with gratitude each teacher who shaped their journey:
- Veda Guru: Brahma Sri Vishnubhatla Sri Krishna Ghanapathi garu
- Tarka Shastra & Kavya Guru: Brahma Sri Ambadipudi Radheshyam Sastry garu
- Vyakarana Guru: Ganti Dattatreya Sastry garu
- Vedanta Guru: BrahmaSri Manidravida Sastry garu
- Mantra Guru: Shivalenka Udayashankar garu
Tracing this lineage together with the children was a quiet reminder that Sri Kameswari’s work is not an invention of our own, but a continuation — one link in a long, living chain of teachers and disciples.
3.Sri Kameswari Students shine at Kalaripayattu competitions @ Nithya Chaithanya Kalari Gurukulam,Bahadurpally,Hyderabad
Vedic and Shastric students from Sri Kameswari Foundation have participated in the Kalaripayattu competitions held by Nithya Chaithanya Kalari Gurukulam,Bahadurpally, Hyderabad.
Three out of eight students who participated from Sri Kameswari Foundation in the Level-1 competitions have passed successfully.
Kudos to all the participants for their enthusiastic participation, and congratulations to the winners—J.BalaKrishna Murthy, G.Shiva NagaChaitanya, and G.Shivaguru!
Our students maintained a great spirit throughout the competitions and gave their best, which was well-appreciated by the organizers.
Our heart-felt thanks to coach,Beejakshari garu, for training the students meticulously and helping them participate alongside students from various places. This not only boosts their confidence but also gives them a wonderful opportunity to observe how their peers perform.
4. A Sacred Grove Takes Root — the Hanuman-Vanam at Korutadiparru
At Korutadiparru, Sri Kameswari Foundation completed a long-awaited and truly unique undertaking — the installation of a Sacred Grove, the “Hanuman-Vanam,” just behind the existing temple. Every plant chosen for this vanam is sacred and, wherever possible, fruit-bearing — species meticulously associated with Lord Hanuman — with each one’s placement carefully deliberated before it found its place in the ground.
As part of the project, an old well — nearly a hundred years old — was lovingly rejuvenated, giving the vanam its own independent, self-sustaining water source. By the Lord’s grace, a boundary fence was also successfully erected around the entire site, and a 500-litre tank was installed to dispense water systematically to the young plants.
Work began on 21st July, and with the sustained effort of the team, the entire project — from well restoration to fencing to planting — was completed by 31st July.
5.Weekend Outings @ Sri Kameswari Foundation
Family outings play a major role in understanding one another better and bringing harmony to our thoughts and actions. As a dharmic foundation, we look forward to creating a large family of dharmic minds by connecting closely with the families of our students.
We have always valued building a strong rapport with our students’ families, knowing that learning and enjoyment are most meaningful when shared together.
To bring this vision to reality, families associated with the Kameswari Foundation come together and play during the weekends. This not only uplifts the energy of every participant but also fosters warm, informal conversations that strengthen our relationships.
Here are a few snippets from our weekend outings in the month of June!
