Greetings Everyone!!!
As a nation and as individuals,we are facing challenging times due to various circumstances. Some may attribute these to celestial forces, others to uncertainty, and some others to our own karma.Whatever name we assign to the cause,it is important not to be bound by its effects. This freedom is possible only when we align ourselves with the Cause of all causes — The Brahman.
We feel grateful and blessed to be able to connect with the Supreme Self in one way or another through our Foundation’s activities. The month of May was both experiential and joyful,as reflected in the highlights below
Highlights of MAY 2025
1.Acharya Dr.J.Srinivas garu speaks on Ātmādhikaraṇa at the Global Festival of Oneness – 25 by Indic Academy – (07-05-25)
Hey Jīva,
Do you know that these days, people are identifying you as me — the body?
It is being widely preached that there is only one life, and that one must live it to the fullest — without any compromise, without any adjustments.
People are being misled into believing that they must only follow their mind and not listen to anyone else — especially not sacrifice anything in the name of Dharma, because, after all,”It’s just one life!”
But you,the true resident of this body — the one who gives meaning to its existence — know very well that such an understanding has degraded the quality of life for you,the Jīva. Meanwhile,I,the body, have become pampered. All my desires are being fulfilled.I feel like a king now.
Your state is truly pitiable,Jīva!
Hey Body,
Don’t feel too sorry.Things won’t always be this way.Everyone gets their time in this grand cycle of creation.
As for me,recently I came across a talk by Dr. Jammalamadaka Srinivas, who has explored my nature in a very lucid and insightful way.
Things are shifting beautifully. Many are becoming curious about the deeper nature of creation and existence.
So,the distinction between you and me may not remain hidden for too long.Until then, enjoy your reign!
Namaste, fellow Jīvas on this journey – Are you also interested in listening to our Āchārya,Dr. Jammalamadaka Srinivas garu,as he explains the nature of the Jīva through the lens of the Brahma Sūtras, drawing from the commentaries of Śrī Ādi Śaṅkarācārya?
If yes,do check out this talk show organized by Indic Academy, available now on our YouTube Channel.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Indic Academy for this wonderful opportunity to explore the foundational concepts of our Sanātana Dharma!🙏🙏🙏

2. Acharya Dr.J.Suryanarayana garu delivered a Talk on the Essence of Yoga Vāsiṣṭha at the Global Festival of Oneness 2025, hosted by Indic Academy – (07-05-25)
When we look into the Purāṇas,we find that much of the knowledge shared by our Ṛṣis emerged through questions asked by Ādi Śakti to Bhagavān Śiva.
The Jīva realises its true existence only when the veil of Māyā — the illusion behind this creation — is lifted.Interestingly,it is Māyā herself who,in symbolic narratives, questions the Supreme Self on how to overcome herself and realise one’s true nature.
This process is presented in various stages — mirroring the journey of self-realisation — from the lower self to the higher self. For instance,we see Goddess Pārvatī asking Bhagavān Śiva everything from how to live as a Gṛhastha to how one can attain Mokṣa.
Similarly,Śrī Rāma,considered the male form of Goddess Pārvatī,asks Brahmarṣi Vasiṣṭha deep and piercing questions about human life and the path to liberation — a dialogue beautifully captured in the great Vedāntic text, the Yoga Vāsiṣṭha.
Before reading any Vedāntic scripture,it is essential to ask:
- Why should one read this text?
2. Who is it meant for?
3. What makes this scripture so powerful and relevant to our lives today?
In this insightful talk by our Āchārya, Dr.Jammalamadaka Suryanarayana garu, all these questions are explored in a most engaging and refreshing manner — like a cool breeze on a hot day.The talk not only inspires one to read the text but also encourages the seeker to continue steadily on the path of liberation.
Our sincere thanks to Indic Academy for the chance to explore this great Vedāntic scripture with seekers of Sanātana Dharma.🙏🙏🙏

5.Śrīmadbhagavadgītā Tattvamu – Discourse series by Dr.J.Suryanarayana garu
Bhagavad Gita – A few decades ago, hearing the Bhagavad Gita often evoked the perception that someone had passed away and that it was being recited to pray for the departed soul’s peace.
Fortunately, nowadays,we have moved beyond that unfortunate misconception.
Our gurus are guiding us to understand that the Bhagavad Gita is not meant only to be read after someone passes away.
Instead,it is a profound text taught by the Bhagavan himself, encompassing the essence of all knowledge systems, offering guidance on how to live a righteous life, break free from the cycle of birth and death, and attain moksha.
The Bhagavad Gita is gaining worldwide attention and respect.
While understanding its essence is undoubtedly valuable, it is also beneficial simply to read and recite the shlokas.
Why is such importance given to this text?
If one wonders whether the recitation of this sacred scripture brings punya(spiritual merit) that leads to success—the answer lies in the experience itself.
Just as the japa of a mantra energizes the devotee and guides the soul toward dharmic actions, ultimately leading to liberation,in a similar way,the recitation of the shlokas of the Bhagavad Gita—each word resonating with the truth of the Universal Self—grants the blissful experience of the Supreme.
This is why even Adi Shankaracharya praised the greatness of the Bhagavad Gita in his Bhaja Govindam as
bhagavadgītā kiṃcidadhītā
gaṃgājalalavakaṇikā pītā |
sakṛdapi yena murārisamarcā
kriyate tasya yamena na carcā ||
affirming that even a small act done with devotion can elevate the soul.
Sri Kameswari Foundation presents the Tattvopadesha given by Lord Sri Krishna to Arjuna, explained in an easily understandable way in Telugu.
It is always a joy to hear the glories of Bhagavan;however it is even more delightful to hear them from a Vaggeyakara.
In the same way,we hope that listening to the Bhagavadgita Tattvam from Dr.Jammalamadaka Suryanarayana garu—a scholar of Nyaya and Vedanta, and co-founder of Sri Kameswari Foundation—offers listeners a truly blissful experience.
