Greetings Everyone!!!
Are we progressing in the right direction?
This is a question we often ask when we begin something new for the betterment of our lives. It is indeed good to ask this question. However, what matters most is how we answer it.
- Are we comparing our growth with others?
- Are we comparing our growth with times that are no longer contemporary?
- Are we trying to evaluate progress even before we have put in sincere effort?
For an individual or an institution, these should not be the parameters to assess progress, because purpose and motivation differ across individuals and across time.
Then what is the one question that truly supports our journey?
It is this:
Is today’s version of me better than yesterday’s—in purity of thought, sincerity in action, inclusivity in its true essence, and alignment with the Supreme Self?
As a Foundation working in the sphere of Sanatana Dharma, our daily efforts constantly invite us to reflect on these dimensions and become better versions of ourselves—both individually and collectively as an institution.
Every engagement brings an experience—sometimes cheerful, sometimes challenging—but each one certainly guides us along the path of our vision.
True success is not everything unfolding according to our plans, but the ability to walk steadfastly through both favourable and unfavourable circumstances.
Praying to all our sources of strength to bless us on this journey, we present our February newsletter—filled with beautiful moments and initiatives that are integral to our commitment to the eternal Dharma.

2.An Insightful session by Dr.J.Suryanarayana garu at The Aikya Foundation on Gurukulam vs. Macaulay – 25-Feb-2026
Dr.Jammalamadaka Suryanarayana garu was invited by The Aikya Foundation (TAF) to deliver a lecture on the Gurukula education system and on the need to decolonise ourselves from Macaulay’s ideology.
In his address,Dr.J.Suryanarayana garu briefly explained the Gurukula system of ancient Bharat, drawing references from our pauranic scriptures such as the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. He then reflected on the present state of Gurukula education and emphasised the importance of reviving it in a manner that aligns with contemporary needs without compromising its foundational spirit.
The interactive session brought forth practical, real-time concerns faced by Gurukulas today — particularly the legal frameworks and the limited institutional support available when challenges arise, including issues with neighbouring communities.Acharya Suryanarayana garu also addressed widespread misconceptions, especially the colonial-era narrative that Gurukulas impart education exclusively to Brahmin students.
Further,he explained that while Vedic study traditionally requires adherence to certain eligibility criteria,Shastric studies remain open to all sincere seekers of knowledge, allowing anyone with genuine intent to immerse themselves in that vast ocean of wisdom.
Discourses of this nature are truly the need of the hour. They help us distinguish what is feasible and what requires careful navigation within the Gurukula ecosystem. While we may not witness an immediate transformation of the entire educational framework, such engagements certainly pave the way for thoughtful and sustainable future developments.
We sincerely thank The Aikya Foundation for providing this platform to articulate our vision for a Gurukula-based education system.
3.Sharanam – Guru Charanam – A Divine Series on Kanchi Paramacharya
Sri Kameswari Foundation is presenting the authentic incidents(stories) documented in the book “Nadiche Devudu(Sri Kanchi Paramacharya)” as a series of episodes titled “Sharanam – Guru Charanam”.This offering is made with deep devotion and reverence to SriSriSri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Swamy of Kanchi, who is glorified as “Nadiche Devudu”.
Through this series,we aim to narrate these heart-touching encounters and the profound spiritual lessons we can interpret from them.
We have released two episodes in this series:
Episode – 1: Who is your Guru?
How does a Guru bless their disciple? In this inaugural episode of “Sharanam – Guru Charanam,” we share a miraculous real-life experience of a devotee with the Sage of Kanchi, SriSriSri Chandrashekarendra Saraswati Swamiji.
Through this divine leela, we explore the mystical ways Swamiji made his presence felt and what it teaches us about recognizing our true Guru.
Episode – 2: What is Real Beauty?
In this episode, we explore the deeper concept of beauty through an inspiring encounter between Neelamraju Venkata Seshayya garu and the sage of Kanchi, SriSriSri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Swami varu (Kanchi Paramacharya).
Even in his advanced age, Mahaperiyava radiated a divine aura and beauty that transcended physical standards. What was the secret behind this “Samatvam”? We dive deep into this using the teachings of Swami Krishnanandaji Maharaj and the Bhagavad Gita.
4.VedaVignanam – A Series Exploring the Eternal Voice of the Vedas – Episode – 8
Continuing our exploration of Vedic concepts through Veda Vignanam series,we have released another episode in which our Vedam guruvugaru,Kunapuli Ganesh Karthikeya Ghanapathi garu explained in detail on the following questions:
- Rituals like Barasala (naming ceremony), Upanayanam, and Vivaham (marriage) are called Vaidika Samskaras. But what does ‘Samskara’ actually mean? What is the literal meaning of the word ‘Vaidika,’ and why are these specific rituals referred to as Vaidika Samskaras?
- We often hear the phrase “Vaidika Jeevanam” (Vedic Living). What does it mean for a life to be lived according to Vedic principles? To whom does this lifestyle apply?
- When referring to the Vedas, people often use the term “Veda Mantras.” What exactly is a ‘Mantra’? Does the Veda consist entirely of Mantras, or is there more to it?
- In the previous episode, we learned that Vedic phonetics (Svara) can be understood through ‘Pratishakhya’ and that it is a part of ‘Lakshana Adhyayanam.’ What is “Lakshana” and how it can be studied?
- “Savitā” (స॒వి॒తా) – Varna Krama (Phonetic sequence and syllable arrangement).
