Greetings Everyone!!!
All beginnings in the social arena are guided by a vision and mission, but true fulfillment lies in seeing our actions aligned with and advancing that purpose.
This April was yet another meaningful month for us.Our Acharya’s-J.Suryanarayana garu and J.Srinivas garu participated in the Vakyartha sadas,a forum every Shastric scholar aspires to be part of.We also lauched a new course,‘Vedamantram’ aimed at reviving the sampradayic way of living in our households.
Another beautiful milestone was witnessing our Veda vidyarthis excel in Kalaripayattu – our own ancient Indian martial art.
Here we present the details of all our foundational activities that took place in the month of April in this newsletter!!
Highlights of APRIL 2025
1. Acharya – J.Suryanarayana garu participated in the Shastra Sabha at Sri Pushpagiri Matham-Hyderabad – (11-04-25)
What do you think is The Art that people, especially those working in the space of Indian Knowledge Systems(IKS) should possess in contemporary times?
…
…
…
The Art of Debating with sound logic.
Don’t you think so?
We often come across people who try to pull us in all directions with all wrong sorts of interpretations.
So,how can we become well-versed in this art?
That would be the next question.
The answer, once again, can be found in our knowledge systems, where there is a branch of philosophy called Nyāya,which extensively covers all the techniques to equip ourselves – not just for the exterior world but also for our inward journey.
The beauty of these shastra lies in the fact that they begin with the ultimate goal of life, which is mokṣa — liberation.
So,here is an eloquent presentation by our Acharya – Dr.Suryanarayana garu on the different types of debates and with a specific focus on chalaṁ – a form of deceptive argument and its various types.
He also elucidates how to understand and respond to such arguments in order to establish facts – which is and should be the purpose of any debate.
Dr.Jammalamadaka Suryanarayana garu presented Vakyartha on chalaṁ and its varieties based on the Nyāya Sūtras at the Shastra Sabha organised by Sri Pushpagiri Matham in Hyderabad on the 19th Anniversary Celebrations of Sanyasa Svikara of Sri Sri Sri Abhinavoddanda Vidyasankara Bharati Swamiji.
With deep reverence, we bow at the sacred feet of pujya guru Sri Sri Sri Abhinavoddanda Vidyasankara Bharati Swamiji, whose blessings have given us the honour of participating in this sabha 🙏🙏🙏

2.Acharya – J.Srinivas garu participated in the Shastra Sabha at Sri Pushpagiri Matham-Hyderabad – (11-04-25)
We often think of prāṇa as life itself, usually understood as the inhalation and exhalation of vāyu(air).
This understanding indirectly implies that vāyu is life(prāṇa).But does that mean air itself is prāṇa?
Air(vāyu) is one of the pañcabhūtāḥ(five elements) and is all-pervading. So,is prāṇa also all-pervading? Or is there a distinction between vāyu and prāṇa?
Starting with this clarification and leading up to an explanation of why there are five types of prāṇas (prāṇaḥ,apānaḥ,vyānaḥ,udānaḥ,samānaḥ) and the role each one plays, all of this can be heard in a wonderful presentation by our Acharya – Dr.Srinivas garu.
Dr.Jammalamadaka Srinivas garu presented Vakyartha on Vāyukriyādhikaraṇam from the Brahma Sūtras of Vedānta at the Shastra Sabha organised by Sri Pushpagiri Matham in Hyderabad on the 19th Anniversary Celebrations of Sanyasa Svikara of Sri Sri Sri Abhinavoddanda Vidyasankara Bharati Swamiji.
At the holy feet of pujya guru Sri Sri Sri Abhinavoddanda Vidyasankara Bharati Swamiji,we offer our humble prostrations, grateful for the opportunity to be part of this divine sabha.
