With changing times and a growing vision for a better tomorrow in the realm of Sanatana Dharma,we are witnessing a deep hunger to understand what our Sastras and Puranas reveal about every aspect of life. There is a visible shift in our collective thought process — a yearning to know things as they were originally told, the authentic way.
This is indeed a significant time for organisations like ours, whose very purpose is to share the essence of the Vedas and related knowledge systems with the world in their true spirit. To fulfil this vision, we need opportunities to engage with the younger generation, while also seeking the blessings of the Jagadgurus, who continue to guide us on the right path.
We offer our humble prayers to our Divine Mother,Kameswari, who ensures that we walk the path designed by her — a path that leads to the welfare of both ourselves and humanity.
With this spirit,we present our September Newsletter, sharing glimpses of the activities and experiences from the month gone by.
Highlights of SEPTEMBER 2025
1.Dr.J.Srinivas garu participated in the Mahaganapati Vakyartha Vidwat Sabha at Sringeri | 08-09-2025
The Jagadguru Sankaracharya of Sringeri is widely revered as the supreme authority in the Sastras.
The annual Mahaganapati Vakyartha Vidwat Sabha, conducted for about 12 days during the Vinayaka Chaturthi festival, is unmatched in the scholarship of its discussions. These debates take place entirely in Sanskrit under the presidentship of the Jagadguru Shankaracharya.
Invitation to this Sabha is extended to about 50 of the brightest scholars from across the country. The scholars deliberate for about an hour on a chosen topic in one of the four Shastras: Advaita Vedanta,Mimamsa, Vyakarana or Nyaya. The Sringeri Jagadguru is present throughout the 4-6 hour session every day, mediating the discussions and delivering final verdicts.
Our co-founder,Dr.J.Srinivas garu expounded upon the Vakyartha of the “Rachana-anupapatti Adhikaranam”, a section from the Brahma Sutras central to Advaita Vedanta philosophy.
With reverence,we bow at the holy feet of the Jagadguru who has graciously blessed us with the opportunity to take part in a Vakyartha Sabha conducted under his divine presence — a privilege that feels like conversing with Goddess Sarada herself.
2. Talk by Dr.J.Suryanarayana garu on Vidyas from Puranas at Workshop by Sanskrit Academy | 19-09-25
Dr.J.Suryanarayana garu was invited to deliver a talk on Vidyas from the Puranas in a 7-Day Workshop on Indic Knowledge Systems – Puranas, organized by the Sanskrit Academy.
Being a scholar of Nyaya and Vedanta,he began his talk by defining Vidya and explaining its prominence from the perspective of Tarka Shastra.Vidya (Right Knowledge) is accorded the highest place,as it is considered the means to Moksha (liberation).
In our knowledge systems, one must truly appreciate the diverse approaches to knowledge presented by our Ṛṣis concerning every aspect of the universe.
In this context, our Acharya,Dr.J.Suryanarayana garu also elaborated on the different kinds of Vidyas mentioned in the Agni Purana. As the sole aim of all our knowledge systems is to attain Moksha (Kaivalyam), the five positive movements — Deva Prapti,Vairajam,Brahma Prapti, Prakruti Layam and Kaivalyam — leading towards liberation, along with the definition of each state were also discussed.
We express our gratitude to the Sanskrit Academy for this opportunity, which enables us to dive deeper into these profound concepts and reflect upon them—guiding us steadily toward the ultimate goal of life, attaining Kaivalyam.
3.Tarkasangraha Tutorial Video Series By Chi.Kalaga Achyut Sarma
In traditional Gurukulas and the realm of Shastras, the study of Tarkashastra typically begins with Tarkasangraha, composed by Sri Annambhatta. This concise text, structured in about 300 short sentences, offers a gentle and accessible introduction to the subject.
Kanthasthikarana (committing to memory) of these sentences is highly beneficial — it not only deepens one’s grasp of Tarkashastra, but also enhances the study of other Shastras and cultivates a Tattvika Drishti (philosophical worldview).
With this intent,Sri Kameswari Foundation brings to you the Tarkasangraha Recitation Tutorial, recited by Chi.Kalaga Achyut Sarma. Each sentence is recited twice, enabling learners to repeat and practice effectively.
We have released 2 videos in this series and they can be watched below.
4.EK Spiritual Services – Medical Camp – 07-09-25
Dr.Gopal Rao garu and his dedicated team successfully organized a meaningful homeopathy medical camp at the Abhayanjaneya Swamy Temple,RTC Colony.
The camp extended its benefits to students, parents and local residents, offering much-needed care and relief to many dealing with long-standing health concerns.
It was a heartfelt initiative, and the Foundation felt truly privileged to be part of such a holistic, community-centered effort.
