The Vigyana Gurukulam program offers a diverse range of subjects that aim to nurture a deep understanding and appreciation of Indian heritage, language, history, spirituality, and wellness while promoting critical thinking and analytical skills and overall development of the child (Age Group 5 to 15 Years).
The course aims to cover the following important aspects of Indian Knowledge systems
Sarala Samskritam – Discover the Beauty of Samskritam: Through engaging activities, interactive sessions, and vocabulary-building exercises, children will develop a strong foundation in Samskritam. They will learn to read, write, and communicate in this ancient language, fostering a connection to our rich linguistic heritage.
Chaaritra Vaibhavam – Unveil the Glorious Past: Delve into the realms of Indian history and explore the lives of remarkable personalities. From the valor of Shree Rama to the strategic brilliance of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, students will gain insights into the lives and contributions of these inspiring figures who shaped our nation’s identity.
Sankshepa Ramayana: Learning life lessons and ethical values through the life story of Rama. The opportunity to Iearn the entire Ramayana via stotras along with its meaning which will imbibe samskaras, Improve pronunciation, memory, focus and other cognitive faculties.
Bhagawadgitaa – Wisdom of the Scriptures: The profound teachings of the Bhagwat Geeta await students. We will delve deep into the 16th adhyaya, providing valuable insights and life lessons that can guide them on their path of personal growth and self-discovery. Bhagawad Geeta will equip the learner with all the instruments needed for psychological strength.
Stotra Maalika – Soulful Stotras & Shlokas: Encourage your child to nurture their spiritual connection through the recitation of powerful stotras. By learning and chanting stotras, students will develop a sense of devotion and tranquility. Foster a sense of spirituality and cultural appreciation through the recitation of shlokas (sacred verses). Students will learn and chant selected shlokas, allowing them to experience the power of sound and connect with our ancient wisdom.
Dinacharyaa – Mindful Daily Routine: We also encourage understanding and embracing a balanced and mindful lifestyle. Students will be taught the importance of dincharya (daily routine) and guide them to incorporate healthy habits into their daily lives. Through practical examples and discussions, students will learn the significance of self-care and well-being.
A complimentary “Mental well-being session” for students and their families. (Upon Request)
This will include tips/ tricks and methods from Indian wisdom on Understanding and practicing psychological well-being. This session will focus on understanding emotions, dealing with stress, anxiousness, and overall mental health.
